Well, Today is bitter sweet for me... It's my last day of work and I'm a mess because of it. I've been working with Alen for a year and a half now and I've been through it all with him, I was there when he started to crawl, took his first steps, started to speak, run, jump, become sarcastic, have full conversations, learn numbers and letters, etc... he's become a little man and a very smart one at that.
I leave for the airport in a few hours and I'm typing this as he naps on his little nap mat behind me. I'm going to miss him so much I don't know what to do with myself!
I know I have so much to look forward to as does he but it's still hard for me to put my head around the fact that I'm not going to see him everyday. I'm really going to miss him.
I still have a few things I have to pick up before I can go to the airport so I'm trying to occupy my mind with that stuff and then I'll be all ready for surf school tomorrow!! I'm really looking forward to my next adventure and I'm so thankful that it all starts tonight!
I love this photo of Alen and I because I think he looks like Mr. Magoo... so cute... I love it!
This video is Alen explaining the difference between "Bling" and "Ice" it's amazing what you can teach a child ;)
